Welcome to news delivered to you, an online community where news is literally delivered to you.
Delivering news from Disley village and community.
Who are we?
Over the next few months a new approach to local news will be introduced, listening to the community of Disley and their concerns.
I will be reporting on all the news stories that break out in Disley and anything affecting the community.
These issues relate to your village and they affect you so to stay updated check back at this website every day to hear the latest news as it’s reported.
The news I will be reporting, will be targeting people over the age of 16 and under 65 because this range is the majority of the population of Disley with the population only consisting of 14.7%.
Some news stories that have been published in the past I will look into more detail and see if anything has been done about the issue or what has changed.
Like the article published in October 2019 “warning for Disley villagers amid graffiti spate anger”.
I will gather information to see what has really been done about the graffiti.
What to expect from us:
This isn’t just another news platform, it will be a place where the community can come together and read about the latest Disley information and events to keep you up to date.
Topics ranging from the ongoing vandalism throughout the village which has had an increase of 17.55% and highlighting the issues with the airport relief road causing more accidents and traffic throughout Disley.
Also taking a step back in time to see how the village has changed over the years.
You will get the most reliable and trustworthy information from sources such Sue Adams who is the vice chair.
Jackie Pattison who is the chair and other members of the council such as Cath Birchall and Jean Windsor.
I will also get in touch with the PCSO’s in Disley who patrol the area
